1960

Company name changed to Plibrico Japan Co., Ltd.

Started sales of gunning machines and related equipment.

Developed a series of ultra-high strength castable refractories. (Super HyMOR)

Published the technical book “Monolithic Refractories – The History of Plibrico” to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the company.

2019
  • Renewed the monolithic refractory product brand (THERVEK™).
  • Chigasaki Plant and Construction Division transitioned from OHSAS 18001 and obtained ISO 45001:2018 certification.
  • Developed the ABR series of abrasion resistant castable refractories.
  • Launched the environmentally improved gunning machine (Need Gun™ 400R).
  • Established and began operating a training center for developing supervisors in the Construction Division.
