Main facilities of the Education Center (Teacher Training Building)
Our training center is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that allow trainees to experience simulated dangers that directly lead to serious accidents in the field.
In terms of quality control, we have equipped our facility with training equipment for tasks such as spraying and pouring of Monolithic Refractories, brick furnace construction, and chipping work.
We plan to open the facility to external parties, including partner companies, starting in the second half of 2019. By utilizing the "Education Center," we will further strengthen our construction safety and quality standards.
-
Virtual reality hazard simulation device for working at heightsIf you try to straddle the opening in the scaffolding or lean on the handrail, you will fall very realistically. Those who experience the fall are so terrified that they cannot stand.
-
Forklift Virtual Reality Hazard Simulation DeviceThis demonstration recreates an accident where a person enters a blind spot, suddenly jumps out, and is unintentionally hit by a vehicle. It makes it painfully clear that the only way to prevent such accidents is to separate pedestrian and vehicle traffic.
-
Circuit breaker removal work hazard simulation deviceWhile chipping away at hard refractory material with one's full body weight, a sudden slip of the blade can cause a loss of balance and a broken finger—this is a realistic workplace accident that can occur on site. This device was uniquely created by our employees after much trial and error to eliminate such dangers. We are proud to say that it is the world's only effective immersive device that realistically replicates the conditions on site.
-
High-pressure air hose erratic behavior simulation deviceWhen a high-pressure air hose becomes detached, it thrashes violently. This simulation device can reproduce three different hose behaviors: ① no safety measures, ② with a whip check (a wire to prevent thrashing), and ③ with both a whip check and a hose guard (a device that restricts airflow when pressure rises rapidly). Generally, using only a whip check is not sufficient to completely stop hose thrashing. Our standard practice is to use both a whip check and a hose guard.

AGC Plibrico Standard ScaffoldingThis is a practical training facility where you can learn the correct scaffolding and safety harness usage as defined by our company's work standards.

Commitment to improving quality and skillsWe have also equipped our training center with facilities for various applications including the application of Monolithic Refractories via spraying, casting, bricklaying, and chipping. By utilizing our "Education Center," we will further strengthen the safety and quality levels of our construction work.
In order to meet the increasingly high expectations of our customers regarding construction safety and quality, AGC Privrico has been working on establishing the "AGC Privrico Education Center," a training facility for construction personnel. The center has now been completed, and a completion ceremony was held on December 13th.
The "Education Center" is located next to the equipment center in Ena City, Gifu Prefecture, and is equipped with lecture rooms, teaching materials, and various experiential devices. In particular, we have enhanced our safety-related hazard simulation equipment. Here is an overview of the center.
