    Dry gunning

A low cement castable for dry gunning applications that improves installation efficiency.

    • This product is supplied as a dry powder blend of carefully selected refractory aggregates, ultra-fine raw materials, and a reduced amount of alumina cement.
    • In operation, the dry mix is fed from the PLIMATE II material feeder and conveyed by compressed air to the Need Gun gunning machine, where water is added at the nozzle and the material is applied to the furnace wall. The PLIMATE II unit is equipped with a dosing system for accurate feeding of the powder binder.
    • Thanks to the action of ultra‑fine particles, the required strength can be achieved within 24 hours at ambient temperature.

    Main applications

    • Various industrial kilns and furnaces
    • Incinerators
    • Boilers
  • THERVEK PTG
    Wet gunning

Improves installation efficiency through a wet-gunning method using low cement castables.

    • This product is supplied as a dry powder blend of carefully selected refractory aggregates, ultra-fine raw materials, and a reduced amount of alumina cement.
    • Wet gunning involves pumping the mixed castable refractory and spraying it from the nozzle by supplying compressed air and an accelerator.
    • Thanks to the action of ultra‑fine particles, the required strength can be achieved within 24 hours at ambient temperature.

    Main applications

    • Various industrial kilns and furnaces
    • Incinerators
    • Boilers
  • THERVEK F
    Free-flow Casting

A low cement castable requiring no external vibration.

    • Compared with conventional cement castable refractories, it achieves high flowability with less mixing water, allowing the material to be cast easily into forms without external vibration or rodding.
    • Add the specified amount of water and mix in a mixer, then pour without vibration. When using free‑flow casting, appropriate formwork should be installed in advance.
    • Thanks to the action of ultra‑fine particles, the required strength can be achieved within 24 hours at ambient temperature.

    Main applications

    • High-temperature furnaces
    • Various industrial kilns and furnaces
    • Incinerators
    • Boilers
  • THERVEK V
    Vibration Casting

A low cement castable that achieves a dense structure exceeding that of conventional shaped refractories.

    • Designed for installation by vibration using a vibrator.
    • Although the mix has relatively low flow at the specified water content, vibration with a vibrator enables thorough filling of narrow spaces and complex shapes.

    Main applications

    • Various industrial kilns and furnaces
    • High-temperature furnaces
    • Incinerators
    • Boilers
